So, as I was wondering away at my keyboard. And naturally landed at Foodgawker.com. It’s there I came across this recipe that sound simple and delicious – Sweet Peach Lassi. It sounded refreshing.
It couldn’t have come at a better time. Because, I just bought a bountiful crop of peaches. To which I was going to make a Peach Betty (aka – cobbler), but I didn’t realize I was out of Old Fashion Oatmeal to make the topping. So, what could I do with a bountiful bunch of yummy ripe peaches ?
Bingo, the picture was surrounded with rays of light…singing a glorious hymn…and edged me on to direct my mouse to click that picture (bit melodramatic, huh? But, I want you to realize this is a great recipe). It was that picture that led me to a great site, Zoe Bakes.
A Sweet Peach Lassi is a refreshing, creamy drink with a slight tart zing from the peaches (might I add it only takes a few minutes to make). It complimented by bbq pork rib dinner, perfectly. It was truly summerlicious!
My kids liked it. My very-hard-to-please-when-it-comes-to-food husband even really liked it. I definitely plan to make it again. 🙂
