Taggin’ is a popular thing right now. And I am happy to take part.
JPKittie of Won’t Go Down w/o A Fight graciously tagged me to tell 6 things about myself. So, in no particular order, here they are:
- I make really good lumpia/egg rolls – they are always eaten up really quick in my household
- I am a good mother (says my mother-in-law just now – awwww thank you)
- I play a mean game of Scrabble (and my 8yr old is catching up to me)
- I love the mountains!
- I would love to open up a small bakery/cafe w/ an attached book shop (but I need to expand my baking skills)
- I used to be a gifted violinist
And Notes from the Frugal Trenches hit me with a great tag on the A to Zs of HomeMaking. So here it goes. How domestic am I? lol!
A is for Aprons – yes/no? If yes, what’s your favourite?
It’s funny this should be brought up as I was just thinking about making some aprons of the vintage/retro kind. Take up a new hobby of sorts. Anyhow, my favorite is one that my sister created for me one birthday or Christmas (can’t remeber). It is a grey sparkly Halloween glittery ghost apron. Use it all the time when I bake.
B is for Baking – favourite thing to bake?
Baking, hmmmm…. I make a very good banana nut bread and oatmeal raisin cookies. I really wish that I could find more time to bake like trying bread. Love a fresh, hot loaf of bread!
