This week I:
- Made $1.45 with Google Adsense
- Sold 3 books at Half.com
- Nearly finished my test site for a Candy Buffet business
- Almost finished sewing 36 tres chic cocktail napkins (sorry, meant to have pic. will post later) for an Etsy shop
- Decluttered my Closet & drawers by 50% (but found nothing worthy to list on Ebay)
Total made: $27.49
Minimal progress. But this week was more about setting up the my ‘ducks in a row’. Getting ready for take off.
I plan on making progress by:
- Writing another article or two for ehow.com
- Opening my Etsy store & design banner
- Continue collecting and recycle my aluminum cans
- Clean out kitchen clutter and post on Ebay & work’s Eboards
- Continue to think of more ways to produce money π
How is your progress?
ps – Be sure to check out Coupons.com for your free grocery coupons. This weekend, there is like huge sales at the grocery stores due to the holiday. I am getting my California Pizza Kitchen’s (CPK) pizzas for $1 cuz I am armed with my coupon(s).
just set up the etsy shop. still a way to go with it. but it functions! http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5696861
Right on Girlie! I love the goods. The pillow is soooo cute. And the wedding favors are such an exceptional personalization. Very cool π
Wow, you are moving right along! Good for you!
Thank you. Now if it will just produce the results I want. π
Wow you are doing awesome so far!! I’m so jealous!
I have to make myself do a lot of it. In the nights I come home wanting to put it off until ‘the next day’… I must pick up and chug along. π
that is a fantastic start!!!! Keep it up
If there is nothing worth selling on Ebay from your closet, would any of the items be worth taking to a consignment store? Most stores pay between 40-50% of what they earn. If there’s nothing that will sell at all, donate your cast-offs to a charity. You can use it as a tax deduction. Just make a list of everything you donated. The charity will have a standard list of what the items are typically worth.
No, I don’t think any are worthy. Basic tees, basic blouses, etc… thank you for the tips. I am, however, delivering 3 big bags of clothes to charity. And claiming my write off. π
Speaking of, I need to go check out the consignment shops. Now that I dumped 50% of my clothing I need to replace with a few good pieces.
Great start Christine…I love the idea of candy buffets π
Oh thank you. My friend and I are still toying with the candy buffet idea. I still need to research the cost to get started. Shouldn’t be too out of place. Especially because I have 40% coupons for the candy jars. π
Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I am so glad I found your blog. I love it.
Best wishes,
Janie
Thank you, Janie. I’m always happy to find a new blog myself. Til further great reading…. π
Great start! I wish mine was going as well as yours! =D
Thanks. I hope to keep the momentum (of course, this weekend I was much more focused on fun & food). Til the remainder of September! *Cheers*
Really a very good start!
I have also tried aluminium cans recycling at my home n I was able to collect many cans. This weekend I will be going to local market to sell them.
Oh thank you.
I am so glad to hear that you are applying a win-win situation of helping the environment and recieving a payment at the market. I look forward to hearing how it works out for you. π
